    Lakeside strolls and designated winter trails invite you outdoors. Choose your route according to the weather and path conditions; proper equipment matters in the mountains.

    Wallberg is a special destination in winter too. Its challenging natural toboggan run opens when conditions allow – it is not suitable for small children. Check the current operating status before your trip.

    During Advent, the markets in Rottach-Egern, Tegernsee and Bad Wiessee invite you to browse – with crafts, regional specialities and lights by the water.

From November to the end of April, the spa at neighbouring Hotel Adolphine awaits: whirlpool, two saunas, steam cabins and a relaxation room – €15 per person per day, by arrangement.

When is the Rottach Advent market?

On the four Advent weekends, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 pm to 7 pm on the lakeshore in Rottach-Egern – in 2026 from 28 November to 20 December.

Where can I warm up after a winter walk?

In the spa at the neighbouring Hotel Adolphine: pool, whirlpool, saunas and a relaxation room, from November to the end of April for €15 per person per day. More under Pool & spa.

Is there an Advent offer?

Yes – with “Advent at Lake Tegernsee” you get a 10% direct-booking benefit for stays from 20 November to 23 December. All details in the offer.

Can I stay longer in winter?
