Parking is free for our guests. Important: your registration must be recorded at reception – the easiest way is to send it to us before you arrive.

There are four charging points in the car park. Scan the QR code on the charger and follow the steps in the app – payment is made there.

Arrived early or still out and about after check-out? We’re happy to look after your luggage at reception.
Without a car
Regional trains run from Tegernsee station to Munich. Bus lines 356, 359 and 360 connect Rottach-Egern with Tegernsee and Gmund.

From coffee to heating – the essentials about your apartment.
Coffee, tea & the drinks bar
A first selection of coffee and tea is ready for you, free of charge. More Nespresso capsules are available at reception (€10 per sleeve), tea bags for €1 each.
Please help yourself at the bar on the ground floor – just note what you take on the list provided.
Cleaning & do not disturb
Our housekeeping team is out and about between 9 am and 2 pm. Don’t need cleaning? Hang the door sign outside or – where available – use the “Sleep” switch by the entrance; “Clean” shows that we’re welcome to come in.
How often your apartment is cleaned depends on your booking.
Lights & curtains
Press a light switch briefly: on or off. Hold it: dim (ceiling and window lights, where available).
Press the curtain button briefly: open or close – hold it: stop. You’ll find the full guide to the switch below, under appliances.
Heating
Our radiators heat but don’t cool. In the smaller rooms you set the temperature on the radiator itself, in the larger ones with plus and minus on the display next to the light switch.
Safe, lost property & essentials
The room safe is free to use. Forgotten your toothbrush, toothpaste or a charging cable? Just ask at reception.
Missing something after you’ve left? Email us with your name, apartment and departure date at info@bartl-tegernsee.de.
Spa & sauna
€15 per person per day
From November to the end of April you can add the spa at Hotel Adolphine: pool, whirlpool, two saunas, steam rooms and a relaxation room. Please arrange the day and availability with us in advance.
Consideration in the house
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the house, including e-cigarettes. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets. Thank you for your consideration.

In brief
- Fill the water tank with fresh drinking water and place a cup under the spout.
- Insert a Nespresso capsule and close the lever.
- Choose your coffee button, for example Espresso or Lungo.
If the machine asks to be descaled, just let us know – we’ll take care of it. The manual includes English sections.

Hob with extractor

In brief
- Use induction-compatible cookware and select the cooking zone.
- Set the level on the control panel – the extractor in the middle has its own control.
- The automatic mode adjusts the extraction to the cooking level. The fan keeps running briefly after cooking.

- Set the temperature or power and the time.
- Only use microwave-safe dishes – and never run the microwave empty.

4-button switch with display
In brief

Use “Zentral Aus” (central off) in the bedroom and the living/dining area to switch off all lights at once. The guide is in German.
Please follow the safety instructions in the manuals. Our team takes care of maintenance, descaling and filter changes – just let us know.

Seestraße and the lakeshore are best explored on foot. For a break: Café Krupp, about 100 metres from us.

Take the Wallberg cable car up to the panorama above the valley. Between autumn and winter it pauses for maintenance – please check the operating times.
On the water
Lake cruises
See Lake Tegernsee from the water. Regular services pause in late autumn; during Advent, boats shuttle between the Christmas markets.

Olaf Gulbransson Museum
Art for cooler days in the Kurgarten in Tegernsee. Until 14 February 2027: Tony Cragg – drawings and sculptures, Tuesday to Sunday 10 am–5 pm.

When can I check in and out?
Your apartment is usually ready from 3 pm; check-out is by 11 am. Earlier or later? Let us know – subject to availability, we’re happy to make it work.
Is breakfast available in the house?
We don’t serve breakfast ourselves. Café Krupp is about 100 metres away, right by the lake – we’re happy to share more tips in person.
Can I arrive early or drop off my luggage?
Let us know in advance. We’ll check whether your apartment can be ready earlier – and you can always leave your luggage at reception free of charge.
Has my car registration been recorded?
Our team takes care of it. If you haven’t had a confirmation yet, just ask us.
When can I use the pool and the spa?
Our pool is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm from May to the end of October and is free for guests. From November to the end of April you can add the spa at Hotel Adolphine for €15 per person per day; the saunas are included.
Are dogs allowed?
Unfortunately we can’t accommodate pets at the moment.
I’ve left something behind – what now?
Email us with your name, apartment and departure date at info@bartl-tegernsee.de. We’ll take care of it.
